Candice Raeburn
In this role, Candice focuses on building and nurturing relationships with external organisations and stakeholders. Candi’s scientific background is in applied science and biotechnology. She has worked across government, academia and industry settings, and is a passionate science communicator with experience at Scienceworks, Science Gallery and New Scientist Magazine. She and her partner also foster cats, and she will be happy for you to share pictures of your fur babies with her any time!
Director and Volunteers + Workshops Lead
Ema Corro
Ema is dedicated to fostering community engagement through volunteer initiatives and educational workshops. Ema is a mycologist with over a decade’s experience cultivating fungi. Her main area of interest is in ecology, molecular biology and how to integrate fungi into land management practices. Ema has extensive experience in science communication and engagement, including working with schools, libraries, city councils and community groups. She has contributed to the Fungi for Land project and is coordinator of the citizen-science organisation Mycommunity Applied Mycology.
