A DIYbio project funded by National Science Week 2019

Finding solutions to big problems is no longer out of reach for every day people. Bacteria can be found living in all sorts of places doing all sorts of jobs in our environment, on us, and within us. They help by breaking down and recycling things we can't, which might be the food we eat or even waste in our environment. Join The Science Gallery Melbourne, BioQuisitive and Candice Raeburn in hunting for new bacteria that could be the answer to one of our biggest problems to date, plastic pollution.
